JOB DESCRIPTION
“All roads lead to the work.” A very simple idea at the heart of our agency.
Our work is the product of what we come together to do, it defines how we work together and ultimately what we are judged on. It is what drives the close partnerships we have with our clients and delivers the value we bring to their businesses.
We work for some of the most famous brands in the world. From global super brands - BP, Barclays, Phillips and Unilever to some of the UK’s most popular names - Boots, British Airways, Vodafone, Heineken and Bassett’s.
The role of Account Management is intrinsic to everything we do. It creates the conditions in which great work can thrive and requires creativity, entrepreneurship, flexibility, relentless curiosity and care for every detail.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
You’ll spend time working across different, diverse pieces of business within Ogilvy, initially learning the craft of Account Management across different capabilities; advertising, PR, customer engagement and along the way you’ll have the opportunity to experience other crafts like strategy, project management and production. Everyone gets stuck straight into their placements and you’ll receive lots of practical training from the day you start. Each account works differently so the roles and responsibilities vary but if you’re willing to learn and self-motivated the opportunities are yours for the taking. It will be hard work and just when you think you’ve got to grips with everything, it’s time to move onto the next challenge with a different client! At the end of the 2 years, you’ll come away with new skills, an official Digital Marketing certification and have some invaluable career experience from a top global agency under your belt.
