Overview.
RPC is offering a paid two week Summer Scheme in its London office, where you will be fully integrated into its teams, work on real projects and discover first hand whether a career at this creative law firm is the right fit for you, with the scheme serving as the main route to an RPC training contract.
Application criteria.
To be eligible you must be one of the following:
- A law student in your penultimate or final year of study
- A non law student in your final year of study
- A graduate, as RPC accepts graduate applications at any time
Strengths and potential that you can bring to RPC and its clients
- Problem solving ability, which the online early talent assessment explores through cognitive exercises
- Clear motivation for a career as a trainee solicitor at RPC
- Confidence in building relationships, as the scheme includes speed networking, meeting clients and working closely with teams
- Curiosity and a collaborative approach that fit a firm where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone works together

About the opportunity.
Over two weeks in the London office you will become part of RPC's teams and gain a real insight into life at the firm, while RPC gets to know you and the skills and potential you could bring. The firm recruits most of its London trainees through the Summer Scheme, so it encourages applicants to take this route where possible, and successful candidates start their training contract two years later.
Scheme dates for 2027 are as follows:
- Summer Scheme 1: Monday 14 to Friday 25 June 2027
- Summer Scheme 2: Monday 28 June to Friday 9 July 2027
What you'll get.
- A salary of £550 per week, which works out at £1,100 across the two week scheme (£550 x 2 weeks)
