Schroders’ Apprenticeship programme is your chance to gain 2 years, paid work experience. If you’ve just finished your A-levels or your BTECs then this programme provides you with a chance to explore the world of work.

Location: London
Start date: 2nd September 2024
Application criteria:
- You must be 18 years old by 2 September to apply for the 2024 intake
- You must have gained A-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects – no minimum UCAS point required
- Must achieve a level 2 in both English and maths (i.e. a GSCE grade A* to C (or 9 to 4)) or equivalent
- At the start of your new apprenticeship, it is important that you are not currently enrolled in another funded apprenticeship or any other funded further education or higher education program.
Please note that funding for a repeated qualification is not available

About the opportunity
This is a Level 3 apprenticeship on the Compliance and Risk Officer programme, which is a professional industry qualification.
The Group Risk team provide oversight to the management of all risk types across the Schroders Group and focus on managing the operational risks that arise from managing such a large amount of client assets.
Day to day tasks may include:
- Reviewing business areas' risk information.
- Analysing risk data.
- Preparation of risk management reporting (across credit, market, investment and operational risk).
- Producing/reviewing risk metrics.
- Analysing data provided by business areas and systems.
- Supporting various risk projects.
Salary £25,000 pa
