About the Wealth Management Apprenticeship Program

You'll be joining UBS on a 4 year degree apprenticeship. The first stage of your apprenticeship is a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist apprenticeship, and on completion, you’ll then progress onto a Level 6 Financial Services Professional apprenticeship, inclusive of the industry recognised Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) 1 as the final stage of the degree apprenticeship, with the potential to gain a BSc (Hons) degree.

Your career development and professional qualifications don’t stop after the apprenticeship. Focused and determined individuals will be able to attain further qualifications – and when your training is complete, you will have the opportunity to work towards a junior sales person or client service relationship manager.

This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the best people in the financial services industry with high visibility towards the bank’s senior management. You’ll be supported by several members of the sales team together with support from the program, your line manager, team, mentor and HR. Plus, there are some excellent additional training programmes, through training partner University of Exeter and the internal UBS University.

They operate through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management and the Investment Bank. Their global reach and the breadth of their expertise are major assets that set them apart from their competitors. UBS draw son their differences – who they are, what they've experienced and how they think – to come together and deliver advice and solutions for their clients and for society.

Requirements

You need to have completed your A-levels or equivalent and have achieved AAB, IB grade of 30, or Distinction, Distinction, Merit at BTEC, in addition to a level 5/6 in English Language and Maths GCSE.

• plan, organise and communicate well
• make things happen
• stick with a task
• work in a team
• come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organised a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.

• driven, hard-working and keen to take on new challenges

• basic knowledge of MS Office
• eager to solve problems, make things happen, stick with a task and work in a team
