London: Verisk, Two-Day Summer Insight Programme In person event

When: Wednesday 20th July, 10:00 - 4:00 and Thursday 21st July, 10:30 - 4:00 (arrival 10:00 - 10:15).

Where: Day One is on Zoom. Day Two is in London. Students from both inside and outside of London are encouraged to apply.

Who: Year 13, S6, S5 school leavers or Gap Year students interested in beginning a career in business analysis, software, technology, insurance or finding out more about Verisk. Year 12's are also welcome to attend! There are only 30 spaces available for this event, so register early to ensure you get a place.

Agenda

Verisk are looking to hire applicants for a number of early careers roles over the course of 2022 and 2023, with the first of these roles starting in September 2022.

This is a fantastic opportunity to spend 2 days at Verisk’s prestigious offices in Bishopsgate in the heart of the City to learn more about a leading provider of software solutions to the financial services industry.

This is a unique two-day work experience event that will give you real experience of a professional environment and provide you with application skills and tips, with a view to fast-tracking your application for a September 2022 start for roles in finance and technology.

It's a chance for you to meet professionals and improve your employability skills, whilst broadening your knowledge on the sorts of roles Verisk have available.

Day One:

  • Introduction and welcome to Verisk.
  • Inspiring speaker and Q&A.
  • Comfort break.
  • Client Journey.
  • Lunch and building tour. (Verisk will provide lunch so no need to bring your own!)
  • Meet the team.
  • Industry task in groups.
  • Q&A with Verisk apprentices.

Day Two:

  • Breakfast and welcome back.
  • CV workshop.
  • Comfort break.
  • Interview workshop.
  • Lunch.
  • Culture at Verisk and extra activities.
  • Career pathways at Verisk.
  • Comfort break.
  • Information pack and Q&A.
  • Wrap up and next steps.

 

Who Are Verisk?

Verisk are a software company with over 400 employees based in the UK, Spain and the U.S.A. They specialise in building business software for the specialist insurance market. Their customers operate all over the world.

They have a variety of exciting apprenticeship and school leaver opportunities in business analysis, software, technology, insurance, customer support and more that are open for applications now!

There are 30 spaces available for this event, and all students are welcome to register, although priority will be given to students in London. Please make a note of the office location above before applying.

Please note: this is an in-person event and will be hosted at the company's offices. All venues are covid-safe and meet government guidelines of health and safety. If you are allocated a place, you will be sent the company's safety guidelines a week in advance, eg. if masks are to be worn. You will be expected to follow any guidance from the company on the day.
