Overview

Location: London and Remote Working. You will be able to work at the Verisk central London office and from your home.

Start date: 12th October 2022.

About the New Careers Programme

This is a one-year placement opportunity, potentially leading to a permanent contract or apprenticeship.

You might be uncertain about whether to start work or go to University. You might not know what your next steps are.

If this is you and you're still working out your plans then the Verisk New Careers Programme is for you. It’s a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in a modern and collaborative environment whilst learning core skills that will form the basis of your future career.

You will be supported in your development through diverse and meaningful assignments in areas including Operations, Product and Platform development and Business Analytics.

You won’t be expected to know anything in advance, but your interest in technology will enable you to integrate into your team and assume complete responsibility quickly for the tasks assigned to you.

You will receive lots of coaching, training and mentoring and will have the opportunity to support and learn from experienced professionals across Verisk.

This role offers you an opportunity to learn about business in order to give you a head start in your career. You will have time to develop your knowledge of Verisk's organisation structure, the company culture and practices. You will be continually learning about the software development life cycle.

At the end of the placement year you could go on to work at Verisk as a permanent employee!
